Monarch on native Milk Weed plant

Monarch on native Milk Weed plant

I live in the city of Toledo. I love to garden to attract nature. Butterflies and Humming birds are what I like best.

I love to photograph them when ever I can. I also love to photograph the flowers when they are at their peak.

I was able to obtain some wild milk weed and started growing it in my garden. This is a native plant, but can be very invasive. The Monarch loves this plant and it is a host plant for its eggs.

Here is a picture of a Monarch I took in my garden.
