Dinner Guest
We had just finished dinner and were getting ready to do a few things around the house when my wife yelled at me to get my camera and come to the kitchen.
A small hawk had caught a morning dove and was having it's dinner right outside our kitchen window about 10 feet from the house under the maple tree.
With my new camera I was able to get some pretty good shots through the window. We watched it eat most of it's catch then it flew off with what was left. It was a great sight.
From looking at my books I think it was a Coopers Hawk but it could also be a Sharp-Shinned.
