Nature Notes

Nature notes is section of the site with little articles about our experiences with nature in Northwest Ohio.  I have to admit that most of these articles are written by my wife Susan.  She can capture the emotion of a subject and put it in to words very eloquently while I get caught up in more of the "technical" stuff like pictures, identification of species, and restoring habitat.

Nature touches each of us differently.  Some, like me, are a bit fanatical about all of it.  Others appreciate certain aspects but don't know why.  While others are only concerned if it will be hot outside or they may get a day off of school as result of snow.

Nature notes is our perspective of how nature effects us.  By reading these articles you may gain a different level of appreciation or viewpoint that you didn't have before.  If nothing else hopefully you find them entertaining.
